The Kanji for Reiki is made of two Japanese ideograms.  The top figure is rei, which represents the spiritual force or higher mind.  This is the higher intelligence of the universe, the same that tells your heart when to beat and the other organs how to work. ki is the bottom character, which represents the primal life energy of the universe.  Reiki can be described as “spiritually guided primal life energy”.

A life guided by Reiki will naturally lead you to the spiritual life, a life of healing and wholeness,  a life of meaning and fulfillment.  This is the true purpose of Reiki and ultimate fulfillment of the healing process.

  •  Reiki I (Sho Den) The training is taught by a Reiki Master who initiates Reiki by the attunement process and teaching Reiki principles, and the history of Reiki. The teaching includes the hand positions used when doing Reiki on self and others.  The ability to conduct Reiki sessions on oneself and others is complete on the vibration level of Reiki I.
     

  • Reiki II (Oku Den) Teaches the three Reiki Symbols and the student receives the vibration level of Reiki II attunement.  The Power Symbol, Emotional Healing Symbol, and the Distant Symbol are received.
     

  • Reiki III (Shinpi De) Is the Master level of Reiki.  The Usui Master Symbol is received and additional Tibetan symbols through the vibration level of Reiki III attunement.
     

  • Master/Teacher Master/Teacher level timing is determined on individual basis by Reiki Master.  Practitioners at this vibration level of Reiki are able to initiate others into Reiki using the attunement process as Master Reiki Teacher. 

Usui Reiki Training is conducted in small groups or one on one private training.
